Manitoba Minimum Wage & Labor Law
The Manitoba minimum wage is applicable to most employees, and has been in effect since October 2010. Manitoba has no special minimum wage for students or inexperienced workers.

Employers may charge their domestic employees for room and board by deducting no more then $7 per week for lodging, and $1 per meal provided. In addition, domestic workers also are entitled to at least one 36-hour streach of work-free rest time per week.
